The municipality's own Christmas market, in the park behind City Hall and extending to Deák tér. It has craft stalls, food stalls, an ice rink and light projections onto the City Hall and Merlin Theatre facades, with candle-lighting ceremonies and live music on Advent weekends. Residents registered in the ÉnBudapestem app received a 15 percent discount on ice rink tickets in 2025.

What to eat and drink here
Stalls sell mulled wine, chimney cake baked over charcoal and classic Hungarian Christmas dishes. The municipality presented this market as the lower-priced of the central Budapest markets; it did not publish a full price list, and 2025 reporting put mulled wine around 1,000–1,500 HUF and hot dishes roughly in the 2,000–4,000 HUF band.
