District I's Advent market next to the Matthias Church on Szentháromság tér in the castle district. Stalls sell craft goods from local makers plus food and hot drinks; there are concerts, dance performances and family programmes, and a shared Advent candle-lighting on Sundays.

What to eat and drink here

Food stalls serve hot drinks, mulled wine and Hungarian street-food dishes such as chimney cake, lángos and sausages. The organizer publishes no price list; 2025 price levels in the castle district were broadly comparable to the central markets, with mulled wine roughly 1,200–1,800 HUF and hot dishes roughly 2,500–5,000 HUF.

Prices are what stalls typically charged in the 2025 season and are given as a guide only — the stalls set their own prices and they change every year.
